This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Wisuki mobile apps for iOS and Android (the "Apps") and the website wisuki.com (the "Website"), why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can delete it.
1. Who we are (data controller)
FITNESS & SPORTS APPS SRL
Via delle Logge 6/B, 22070 Carbonate (CO), Italy
VAT and tax code: IT04253120135
Email: support@wisuki.com
2. What data we collect and why
a) Account data. When you create a Wisuki account we collect your nickname, email address and password (stored in encrypted form), and optionally a profile photo, country and the sports you practice. We use this data to create and manage your account, let you log in on several devices, keep your Wisuki PRO membership and show your public profile to other users. Legal basis: performance of the contract with you (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
b) Facebook Login. If you choose to log in with Facebook, we receive from Meta only your public profile (name, Facebook user ID and profile picture) and your email address. We use them solely to create your Wisuki account, log you in and display your name and picture in your profile. We do not post on Facebook on your behalf, we do not access your friends list and we do not sell or share this data with anyone. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
c) Sign in with Apple. If you log in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier, your name (if you share it) and your email address (or the private relay address created by Apple). We use them only to create your account and log you in.
d) Location. If you allow it, the Apps use your device location to show the nearest spots, forecasts and weather stations. Location is used on your device to answer your request and is not used to build a location history. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
e) Content you publish. Sessions, photos, videos, comments, chat messages, favorite spots and alert settings that you create in the Apps. We store them to provide the service; content you publish as public is visible to other Wisuki users. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
f) Notifications. If you enable push notifications or forecast alerts, we store a device push token and your alert preferences, only to send you the notifications you asked for.
g) Purchases. Wisuki PRO subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your card or payment details; we only receive a purchase receipt to activate PRO features on your account. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
h) Usage, diagnostics and advertising. We collect technical data such as device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash reports and how the Apps are used, to fix bugs and improve the service (legal basis: our legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR). The free version of the Apps shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your device advertising identifier; personalised ads are shown only if you consent (and, on iOS, only if you allow tracking). You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in your device settings.
i) Contacting us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for purposes other than those listed above.
3. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
Hosting and infrastructure providers (servers, databases, file storage and content delivery, including Hetzner, Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services);
Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Google Maps, AdMob, Google Play);
Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications);
Meta Platforms (Facebook Login, only if you use it).
We may also disclose data if required by law or by a competent authority. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long we keep data
We keep your account data and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep some of it longer to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax records of purchases). Technical logs and crash reports are kept for a maximum of 14 months.
You can delete your Wisuki account and all the personal data linked to it at any time, in one of these ways:
a) From the App. Open the Wisuki app, go to Settings, tap Delete account and confirm. Your account, profile, sessions, photos, videos, comments, favorites and alerts are deleted.
b) By email. Send an email to support@wisuki.com with the subject "Delete my data", from the email address of your account (or tell us your nickname, or that you log in with Facebook or Apple). We will delete your account and all your personal data within 30 days and confirm it to you by email.
c) If you logged in with Facebook. You can also remove Wisuki from your Facebook account: go to Facebook Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites, select Wisuki and tap Remove. This stops Wisuki from receiving any further data from Facebook. To delete the data we already hold, use option a) or b) above.
d) If you logged in with Apple. You can stop using Sign in with Apple for Wisuki in your iPhone Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple. To delete the data we already hold, use option a) or b) above.
Uninstalling the App does not delete your account: use one of the options above.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before). To exercise these rights write to support@wisuki.com; we answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored in encrypted form and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
8. Children
The Apps are not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Cookies on the Website
The Website uses technical cookies needed for it to work (for example to keep you logged in) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies from Google. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this Privacy Policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, inform you in the Apps or by email.
11. Contact
For any question about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, write to support@wisuki.com.
